Quilt Hawaii 2010

- Quilt Hawaii 2010 is a quilt show and conference with Aloha! Celebrate the beauty and tradition in the art of quilt making. Enjoy a quilt show with many beautiful quilts from traditional Hawaiian designs to contemporary art quilts, shop many tempting vendors, and take classes with teachers from across the United States and Japan. Tours, lectures, and evening programs also available. Admission to the show is free to the public; fee for classes. - Description:
- A new Farmers Market has just debuted on the front lawn at Sheraton Keauhou Bay Resort & Spa. The market is open from 8am-noon each Wednesday. This is now in addition to the Saturday morning farmers market at the Keauhou Shopping Center. Along with local farm-fresh fruit, produce, coffee, flowers, vendors also offer craft products with primary ingredients or materials that come from Hawaii Island’s land or waters.

- Learn to identify and control garden pests with Diana Duff and Garrett Webb. Summer is high season for bugs in Kona and this workshop will help you learn how to keep them under control. Bring samples of insects from your garden for identification and control solutions.
