Birds of Hawaii Island / Midsummer at the Zoo

- Experience the diversity and wonder of Hawai'i's birds and celebrate the summer solstice with the Friends of Hawai'i Volcanoes National Park and the Friends of the Zoo. Docents will lead small groups to learn about the zoo's native bird species, followed by a delicious catered dinner from Soontaree's Deli in Hilo. The evening culminates with a special presentation by noted nature photographer, wildlife biologist, and birder Jack Jeffrey. GEPPETTO & SON AT ALOHA THEATRE
- Description:
- The Aloha Performing Arts Company presents Disney's "Geppetto & Son", a musical retelling of the famous Pinocchio story, from the point of view of Geppetto, his creator. This is a family friendly show and is cast mainly with children. From June 18th through July 3rd. The show will play Fridays and Saturdays at 7:30pm, and Sundays at 2:30pm. Tickets: $10-$15.
